AUGUST 23 QPAC CONCERT HALL 2PM AND 8PMIN THE MOOD A Big Band experience featuring Ian Maurice and members from Brisbane Brass, this is a night for young and old alike as we take a contemporary look at the music to suit every mood. This show will pay a special tribute to our Armed Forces and is “Bold and Brassy” with Attitude. The night will conclude with Tchaikowsky’s famous 1812 Overture which is guaranteed to lift the roof. Due to unforseen circumstances Michael-John Hurney will not be able to perform at this show as previously advertised. We apologise for any inconvienence.
OCTOBER 18 QPAC CONCERT HALL 2PM AND 8PMPut your dancing shoes on and join the Pops Orchestra in exploring the music of dance through out the centuries. Helen Donaldson and Dimitri Kopanakis will delight you with beautiful duets and dancers will amaze you with their agility and grace. Featuring pieces from Swan Lake to Saturday Night Fever this show will put a tap in your toes and a spring in your step.
